About Us
Beckett’s Blends exists to bring people and plants closer together through herbal goods and culinary herbalism education.
We envision a world where our community feels empowered to take control of their own wellness.
Where people think to reach for a natural, holistic healing remedy before a costly pharmaceutical when they are in need.
Where humans positively contribute to the land because they know the power of its food and medicine.
Meet Beckett
Beckett Rucker (he/they) spent a decade in digital healthcare design to make a positive impact on human health. Exposure to the inner workings of the healthcare system, which in many ways functions more like a sick-care system, emphasized for Beckett the need for accessible, natural food and medicine for all. Beckett was inspired to deepen their understanding of the many ways people can derive health and nourishment from our natural world - and what we can give in return. Now on a mission to bring people and plants closer together, Beckett started Beckett’s Blends, LLC to share the magic of culinary herbalism products and education with their community. They are also currently working as a community herbalist, adjunct faculty at the Boston School of Herbal Studies, and sous chef and educator at Wright-Locke farm in Winchester, MA.
Before starting Beckett’s Blends, Beckett completed courses in Elevated Plant-Based Foundations and T. Colin Campbell’s Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate Program at eCornell. To marry nutrition with herbal knowledge, Beckett completed The Chestnut School’s Herbal Medicine Making course, and an apprenticeship with Boston School of Herbal Studies. To deepen their commitment to land stewardship, Beckett received a permaculture design certificate (PDC) from Sowing Solutions in Shelburne Falls, MA. Beckett also served as farmer and permaculturist at Soluna Garden Farms in Winchester, designing and installing a food and medicine forest amidst general farm management.
